Starbucks and Unions
A Buffalo Starbucks will be the first Starbucks to unionize. From what I know, Starbucks probably has the best pay and benefits package for entry level employees...better than any other large company that I'm aware of. I think this is a case where the employees think they know more about business than they really do. Just because you can pilot an airplane doesn't mean you can run an airline. There was a time and place for unions...I think that time has passed. I'm betting if this becomes widespread for Starbucks, you'll see a reduction in starting salaries and benefits.
